Well, after one and half years in Malaysia, I finally realise my wishes - back to the days when I am busy with the Buddhist activities.
Thanks to Bro T at Wei (David), who had given this great chance to me to get back to this. Of course, Bro See Yew, who has given me a golden chance to get involve in the YBAM.
This all started from an invitation to the 19th Biennial National Convention as a translator. Tat Wei said that he may need my help in doing some translation work in the conference. I thought, well, this is OK for me, since I have been doing these jobs when I was in UK, and every now and then I am doing this as well. So I said, OK, just tell me the date and time, and I'll be there.
Well, one thing is that, I didn't really ask him about what kind of translation I am doing, and what is the attire we need to wear.
On the Friday, 6th June 2008, I took a half day off, and headed to Kuantan for the job. Upon arriving, I was brought to the meeting hall where the chairmen were sitting on the stage, the about 100 delegates were at the ground, and I was assigned at a seat which is so close to the charmen.
Sitting down, I was wispering to myself - "gosh! I never expect this... what am I suppose to do now?"
Well, this is the first surprise to me.
later the day, the second surprise came - I was asked to be the emcee for the dharma talk on the second day! Well, I was thinking that, "well, well, well, brother Ng (Tat Wei) what else you are going to give me as a surprise?..."
But anyway, despite the surprises, I am happy that I am back to this big family!
Thanks Bro Tat Wei, and thanks Bro See Yew!
